Collection: William Fevre
The William Fèvre winery finds its home on steep, rocky slopes along the banks of the Serein in Chablis.
Here, the winery has been cultivating beautiful mineral Chablis from prestigious vineyards since 1959. 15.9 hectares are classified as Premier Cru and 15.2 hectares as Grand Cru.
In total, Domaine William Fèvre owns 78 hectares, divided over 90 plots, and is therefore one of the largest wine companies in Chablis. Winemaker Didier Séguier, son of a farmer, is close to nature and tries to express the terroirs of Chablis as much as possible. Because he respects the environment, he works organically as much as possible, the yields are low, he does not use new oak and William Fèvre is one of the few wine estates in Chablis that harvests by hand. Each plot and each harvest year provide completely unique wines.
William Fèvre owns vineyards in the Grand Crus Les Clos, Bougros, Vaudésir, Valmur and Les Preuses. The Premier Crus from which William Fèvre makes wine are Vaulorent, Montée de Tonnerre, Fourchaume, Mont de Milieu, Beauroy and Les Lys. In addition, William Fèvre also makes an excellent Chablis and Petit Chablis.
