A powerful and elegant red blend from Alto Adige

Elena Walch's Cuvée Kermesse Rosso 2020 is a masterful blend of five grape varieties: Merlot, Lagrein, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Syrah. From the steep chalky vineyards at 350 metres altitude in Alto Adige, this wine combines power and finesse with impressive ageing potential.

Tasting notes

In the glass the wine shows a deep ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose is intense and layered, with aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry, dried figs, light smoky tobacco, pepper and chocolate. In the mouth the wine is powerful and harmonious, with well-integrated tannins, delicate toasted aromas and a spicy fullness. The finish is long and elegant, with lots of finesse and character.
