The Delamotte Blanc de Blancs 2012 is an elegant champagne, sourced from Grand Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs, including Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Oger, Cramant, Chouilly and Oiry. This vintage is characterised by its freshness, complexity and ability to age beautifully.
Tasting notes
In the glass, the wine shows a pale golden yellow color with a fine mousse. The bouquet opens with aromas of lemon, lychee, white flowers and a hint of brioche. In the mouth, the wine presents itself fresh and round, with notes of green apple, pear and a subtle minerality. The finish is clean and elegant, with a harmonious balance between fruit and acidity.
Food pairing
This Champagne is ideal as an aperitif and combines well with seafood, oysters, sushi, light fish dishes and refined cheeses such as Comté. Serve at a temperature of 8–10°C.

Vinification & Maturation
The grapes were harvested by hand from old vines in the Côte des Blancs. After fermentation, the wine was aged on the lees for almost seven years, which contributed to its complexity and structure. The dosage is 5 g/l. The wine was disgorged in October 2019.
