Delamotte – Champagne Blanc de Blancs Vintage 2014 – 0.75 Ltr.
Champagne, France – 100% Chardonnay
An elegant and mineral Blanc de Blancs from a classic vintage
The Delamotte Blanc de Blancs 2014 is a refined expression of Chardonnay, originating from the six Grand Cru villages of the Côte des Blancs: Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Oger, Cramant, Chouilly and Oiry. This vintage is characterised by its clarity, precision and ability to age beautifully.
Tasting notes
In the glass, the wine shows a pale golden yellow color with green reflections and a fine mousse. The bouquet opens with aromas of citrus zest, crunchy apple, freshly baked bread and wet stones. In the mouth, the wine presents itself with a lively acidity, notes of lemon oil, salted almond, star fruit and French bread notes. The finish is tight and mineral, with an elegant length.
Food pairing
This Champagne is ideal as an aperitif and combines well with seafood, oysters, sushi, light fish dishes and refined cheeses such as Comté. Serve at a temperature of 8–10°C.

Vinification & Maturation
The grapes were harvested by hand from old vines in the Côte des Blancs. After fermentation, the wine was aged on the lees for more than six years, which contributed to its complexity and structure. The dosage is 6.5 g/l.
