Delamotte – Champagne Brut – 6L OWC
Champagne, France – 55% Chardonnay, 35% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Meunier
An elegant and refined Champagne for every occasion
The Delamotte Brut is a classic non-vintage Champagne from the heart of the Côte des Blancs. As a sister house of the prestigious Champagne Salon, Delamotte shares the same dedication to quality and craftsmanship. This cuvée is composed of grapes from Grand Cru vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Oger and Cramant. After maturing on the lees for at least 36 months, the wine develops a harmonious balance between freshness and complexity.
Tasting notes
Pale golden yellow in colour with a fine, persistent mousse. On the nose aromas of citrus, white flowers, lemon peel and a hint of moss. The palate reveals flavours of ripe peach, brioche and a subtle minerality, supported by a lively acidity and a creamy texture. The finish is elegant and refreshing.
Food pairing
Excellent as an aperitif, but also a perfect accompaniment to oysters, shellfish, sushi or light fish dishes. Also delicious with soft cheeses or a fruit dessert such as poached pears.
