Classic Nebbiolo from the iconic house of Barbaresco

The Barbaresco DOCG 2019 is an elegant red wine from the renowned house of Gaja, founded in 1859 in the heart of Piedmont. This wine reflects the pursuit of perfection that brought Angelo Gaja to international fame. In this balanced and powerful vintage, the house decided not to bottle separate crus. Instead, the fruit from top vineyards such as Sorì Tildin, Costa Russi and Sorì San Lorenzo was brought together in this single, characterful Barbaresco – a rare blend that offers both finesse and concentration.

Tasting notes

The wine shows a ruby red color with garnet reflections. In the nose aromas of rose petals, raspberries, ripe cherries, orange peel and light tobacco. In the mouth the wine is powerful and silky at the same time, with a core of ripe red fruit, lively acidity and fine, perfectly integrated tannins. The finish is long, mineral and perfectly balanced.
