The Art of the Perfect Year – Grand Siècle N°26
The Laurent-Perrier Grand Siècle Itération N°26 is the pinnacle of the art of assemblage in Champagne. Instead of a single harvest year, this cuvée combines three exceptional vintages: 2012 (65%), 2008 (25%) and 2007 (10%). This blend of 8 Grand Cru vineyards, with 58% Chardonnay and 42% Pinot Noir, was matured on the lees for more than 10 years, resulting in a Champagne of unparalleled complexity and elegance.
Tasting notes
In the glass, the wine shows a clear, light golden color with a refined and persistent mousse. The nose is intense and layered, with aromas of honeysuckle, candied lemon, clementine, fresh butter, hazelnut and a subtle hint of honey. In the mouth, the Champagne is silky and mineral, with notes of flaked almond and clementine. The finish is long, fresh and perfectly balanced.
