A rare Grand Cru from the heart of the Côte de Beaune

The Chevalier-Montrachet Grand Cru 'Les Demoiselles' 2005 from Domaine des Héritiers Louis Jadot is one of the most prestigious white Burgundies, originating from a tiny parcel of just 0.51 hectares in Puligny-Montrachet. Situated just above Le Montrachet, this vineyard was reclaimed in 1913 by Louis Jean Baptiste Jadot and named after the original owners, Adèle and Julie Voillot. The soils are rich in limestone and gravel, with a perfect south-southeast exposure, resulting in a wine of exceptional finesse and depth.

Tasting notes

The 2005 vintage presents a brilliant golden yellow colour. On the nose the wine reveals a complex bouquet of toasted bread, honey, white peach and subtle floral notes. The palate is seduced by a full, silky texture with flavours of ripe citrus, almond and a mineral undertone. The finish is long and elegant, with a perfect balance between power and refinement.
