Poderi Luigi Einaudi – Barbaresco Bric Micca 2021 – 2x0.75L OWC
Piedmont, Italy – 100% Nebbiolo
An elegant Barbaresco from the historic Bric Micca vineyard in Neive
The Barbaresco Bric Micca 2021 comes from a vineyard located at an altitude of 300–350 metres in Neive, with soils rich in limestone and marl. This site, the first acquired by Luigi Einaudi for the planting of Nebbiolo, produces a wine that reflects the finesse and power of the terroir.
Tasting notes
Bright garnet red with ruby red highlights. Initially subdued on the nose, then aromas of ripe sour cherries, red berries, leather and forest floor. Powerful and juicy on the palate, with well-integrated tannins, freshness and a long finish.
Food pairing
Excellent with veal, tenderloin, light game and richer dishes with mushrooms or truffle.
