Piedmont, Italy – 100% Nebbiolo

Triple expression of Barolo's iconic crus

This exclusive set includes three of the most renowned crus in the Barolo region: Bussia, Terlo (Vigna Costa Grimaldi) and Cannubi. Each wine reflects the unique character of its origin, with a combination of power, elegance and complexity that is typical of the Einaudi house.

Tasting notes

  • Bussia : Intense ruby red with aromas of ripe raspberries, pomegranate, violets and balsamic. Powerful in the mouth with dried fruit, firm but elegant tannins and a long finish.

  • Terlo (Vigna Costa Grimaldi) : Garnet red with amber reflections. Aromas of red berries, rose petals, lavender, spices and mint. Smooth and balanced on the palate with a long, spicy finish.

  • Cannubi : Light brick red with scents of roses, iris, red berries and camphor. The taste is refined with notes of raspberries, strawberry compote and star anise, supported by polished tannins.

Food pairing
These wines go well with dishes such as ossobuco, risotto with mushrooms or truffle, game dishes and matured hard cheeses such as Parmigiano Reggiano.

  • Terlo 2017 – 92 pointsWine Spectator : “Soft and silky, with floral accents. Sweet red/purple berries, rose petals, lavender, spices and mint envelop the palate.”

  • Cannubi 2017 – 94 pointsWine Enthusiast (Kerin O'Keefe): “Intensely fragrant, with seductive floral scents of rose and iris mingling with red berries and camphor.”

Vinification & Maturation
The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo fermentation in stainless steel and concrete tanks at controlled temperatures (30–32°C), with a post-fermentative maceration of 22–25 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wines are aged in large oak barrels for 30 months, followed by bottle aging.
