Reviews & Awards
-
93 points – Falstaff (Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler):
“Bright garnet red with ruby red highlights. Initially closed on the nose, then ripe sour cherry, red berries, leathery notes and forest floor. Powerful and well-integrated tannins on the palate, juicy and fresh with a long finish.”
Vinification & Maturation
The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo fermentation in stainless steel and concrete tanks at controlled temperatures (29–31°C), with a post-fermentative maceration of 22–25 days. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged for 30 months in large oak barrels, followed by bottle aging.
