A rare Blanc de Blancs from an exceptional vintage
The Champagne Salon Le Mesnil Vintage 2013 is a rare Blanc de Blancs produced exclusively in excellent years. Coming from 100% Chardonnay grapes from the Grand Cru vineyards of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, this champagne embodies the pure expression of terroir and craftsmanship. The 2013 vintage is only the 44th release since the house was founded in 1911.
Tasting notes
In the glass, the wine presents itself with a bright, golden yellow color with green reflections. The nose is complex and refined, with aromas of white flowers, lime blossom, jasmine and bergamot. On the palate, the champagne is full and concentrated, with flavors of lemon confit, dried flowers, mint and a touch of brioche, followed by light tropical accents that add an exotic character. The finish is long and resonant, with a structured and powerful character.
