A rare and prestigious Tawny Port with almost nine decades of cask maturation
The Taylor's Kingsman Edition is an exceptionally rare Tawny Port, created in honour of the film The King's Man . For this exclusive edition, Taylor's selected some of their oldest and most valuable Port wines, aged for almost 90 years in hand-crafted, seasoned oak casks. This unique blend was then left to mature for several months to harmonise into a wine of exceptional balance and complexity. Only 700 bottles were produced worldwide, each presented in a bespoke crystal decanter with gold detailing and a luxury wooden case.
Tasting notes
The wine opens with enticing aromas of molasses and butterscotch, complemented by notes of almond, dried fig and a complex spiciness of vanilla, black pepper, nutmeg and cinnamon. Subtle hints of cedar and balsam add depth to the bouquet. On the palate the port is silky and full, with a lively acidity that provides freshness and balance. The rich, concentrated flavours of butterscotch and spice linger on the elegant finish.
